This documentary, hosted by Leonard
Nimoy, features Ben Cropp’s early filming of shark hunting and encounters
back in the 60’s. The public
attitude then was ‘the only good shark is a dead shark’.
Ben sorts out the fact from the
fiction in regard to shark attacks, the horror people have of being eaten
alive!
Attitudes slowly change from killing
to conservation. Ben changed from
being a shark hunter on the day in 1964 when he filmed and rode on the back of
a monstrous 12 metre whale shark.
